Affiliations

The Affiliation Tab provides developers with tools to generate, manage, and track UTM tagged links to drive user acquisition. This enables visibility into affiliate driven app performance.

Use the Affiliations tab to:

  • Create new referral UTMs to be used in campaigns.
  • Track revenue and stats of existing campaigns.
  • Activate, deactivate, and archive old campaigns.

Campaign URL control

The Campaign URL Control pane provides tools to create and manage your campaigns. The management table contains two tabs:

  • Current URLs—campaigns that are currently running or deactivated.
  • Archived URLs—campaigns that have been archived.

At the top of the page, use the search box to search for a specific campaign, or the filter drop down to filter the campaigns based on their status.

Create a campaign URL

Press the Create campaign URL button to create a new campaign URL. Then:

  1. Select a Campaign source to identify where the traffic is coming from. Choose from the dropdown:
    • App.
    • Influencer.
    • Social media.
    • Google.
    • Twitch.
    • Youtube.
  2. Verify the Campaign medium. Defines the channel delivering the traffic. This is automatically set and cannot be edited.
  3. Enter a Campaign name. Used to track campaign statistics.
  4. Choose a target for the campaign. Choose from App installer or App page. Defines the link as either the app installer or the app's store page.
  5. Enter a description for the campaign. When complete. press Create URL.

Current URLs

The Current URLs table displays a list of campaigns that have been created and their state. The table contains:

  • Campaign name—the name of the campaign.
  • Campaign ID—a unique ID for the campaign.
  • Created date—date the campaign was created.
  • Target type—the target type for the campaign. (Typically the app installer)
  • Campaign URL—a unique URL for the campaign.
  • View statistics—shortcut button to the specific Campaign statistics page.
  • Edit campaign—edit your campaign. Campaign name and the Description are editable. Press the Save changes when complete.
  • Archive campaign—archives the campaign and is not visible in the Archived URLs tab.
  • Status—the current status of the campaign. Use the toggle to activate or deactivate the campaign.

Select a campaign to see the details. A detailed view of the campaign displays:

  • UTM Source.
  • UTM Medium.
  • Description.

Archived URLs

The Archived URLs table displays a list of campaigns that have been archived. The table contains:

  • Campaign name—the name of the campaign.
  • Campaign ID—a unique ID for the campaign.
  • Created date—date the campaign was created.
  • Target type—the target type for the campaign. (Typically the app installer)
  • Campaign URL—a unique URL for the campaign.
  • View statistics—shortcut button to the specific Campaign statistics page.
  • Unarchive campaign—choose to unarchive the campaign and return it to the Current URLs tab.

Campaign statistics

The Campaign statistics page contains the current statistics for all your current campaigns. Select All campaigns or select a specific campaign by name from the dropdown. Viewable statistics include:

  • Total installs—the total number of installations.
  • Total users—the total number of users.
  • Total Gross Revenue—the total amount revenue earned.
  • Daily campaign gross revenue—the total amount of gross revenue made in one day. Use the dropdown to select either the last 30 or 180 days.
  • Daily active users (DAU)—the number of daily active users. Use the dropdown to select either the last 30 or 180 days.
  • Campaign installs—the number of installations the campaign has generated. Use the dropdown to select either the last 30 or 180 days.
  • Campaign uninstalls—the number of uninstalls of the app. Use the dropdown to select either the last 30 or 180 days.
  • Daily average revenue per DAU—the amount of revenue generated per day per user. Use the dropdown to select either the last 30 or 180 days.
  • Month to date gross revenue—the amount of revenue generated in the last 30 days.
